Satis Education are seeking an ambitious and inspirational Assistant Principal (Head of English/ Whole school literacy) for our client school in the Northwest. If you're a motivating and engaging leader, who can lead from the front and inspire, then we would be very keen to hear from you. We are looking for an exceptional leader to drive excellent in English. If you have a deep passion for curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment- and a proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes- this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the English department, ensuring excellent pedagogy and outcomes.
- Drive curriculum planning, sequencing, and delivery.
- Lead departmental intellectual preparation and CPD.
- Play a visible role in whole-school improvement and sit on the Senior Leadership Team.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, scholarship, and staff development.
