- Satis Education are seeking a dynamic and experienced Secondary Head of School to join our client's Alternate Provision in Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading an Alternative Provision.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational policies and programmes
- Manage school staff, including teachers and administrative personnel
- Monitor student progress and academic performance
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the community to enhance the learning experience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health & safety guidelines
- Handle disciplinary matters effectively and fairly
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance the school's reputation and performance
Skills: - Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in education management, particularly in Alternative Provision
- Strong behaviour management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders
- Ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents towards educational goals
- Sound decision-making skills to address complex issues effectively
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment strategies
